Saturday:         12:00pm–5:00pm
Event:              2:30pm–3:45pm

Sunday:           8:00am–1:00pm
Event:              9:00am–10:15am

Position Summary

Christ Our Light Church is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and dependable Part-Time Weekend Event Operations Assistant to help prepare and maintain spaces for weekend events.

The position primarily involves setting up and breaking down tables and event spaces, along with light cleaning and general event support responsibilities. The Event Operations Assistant will work under the direction of the Maintenance Director and cooperate with other staff and associates as needed.

🛡️ Federal Homeland Security Grant Awarded

We have fantastic news regarding our parish and school infrastructure:

• The Award: We received a $190,000 federal Homeland Security grant!
• The Purpose: This funding will modernize our facilities and provide the best possible security protections.
• Timeline: The project will take roughly one year (give or take a few months) to complete.
• Future Plans: Because equipment costs have risen significantly, we plan to apply for another grant when we become eligible two years from now.
• Gratitude: A huge thank you to our dedicated committee members and our grant writer who made this massive help possible.

🎒 Family Faith Formation & Youth Ministry Boom

Our shift to the Family Model for Faith Formation (K-6) and Youth Ministry (7-8) has yielded incredible, unexpected fruits:

We’re at 93.7% of our Goal! 

Thanks to the generosity of our parish family, the SJ Catholic Ministries Appeal continues to make great progress.  With every one’s help, we can definitely meet and even exceed our goal!

93.7% of our goal has been pledged!
