Men's Group

Men of Christ Our Light and Men of the wider community, come check out our new parish’s very own Men’s Group!

This is a new group being formed and led by Fr. Tom Newton.  It is about each man supporting one another to become a transformed man of God; a better person, husband, father, partner, son, brother, and friend.  It is about growing up – spiritually, emotionally and socially.  The sessions will last 1 ½ hours and will be conducted in the format of a Council Circle (more on Council Circles will follow in another bulletin). Open to All men age 18 and over.  All races, creeds, sexual orientations, and levels of church participation are invited.  The next session will be held on Saturday, November 25th from 6:00 AM until 7:30 AM.

Good Morning Moms

Have you heard about Good Morning Moms?  We are a group of women from the parish community who meet for fellowship and faith sharing twice a month on Wednesday mornings.  Our children range in age from infants to adolescents.  All moms are welcome.  Come share the wonderful (and at times overwhelming) journey of motherhood!  Breakfast and childcare is provided.  Please contact Megan DiSalvo for more information at This email address is being protected from spambots. RCIA - Be Filled with the Spirit

Are you, or have you at some point thought about becoming Catholic? Maybe you have tagged along with someone going to Sunday Mass and have had a "this is where I belong" feeling while there. If so, why not ask the questions and get the answers to help you decide.  In the RCIA program this is called the Inquiry Phase of discernment and is taking place now.  If you are interested, we would love to talk with you. For more information please contact Barbara Long at 856-810-0881.

Question of the Week

Week of November 19, 2017

Matthew 25: 14-15, 19-21

Adults:  How can you help others to recognize their God-given gifts?

We offer this form of contemplative sharing for pondering Scripture while considering the question, and for the faith sharing which follows.

-  Listen/ Read (Lectio): Ponder God’s word and listen for what touches your heart.
-  Meditate (Meditatio): Notice what you notice. Allow God’s word to resonate in you.
-  Speak/Share (Oratio): Prayerfully share with the group your thoughts and feelings.
-  Rest in God’s presence (Contemplatio): Notice God’s presence and be still, surrounded by God’s love.

Teens:

How are you using the gifts God has given you?

Children:

What gifts has God given you?
