Family Separation Rally

Please consider contacting the White House and our congressional representatives to weigh in about the family separation practice.  Here is a suggested script.

“Hi, my name is [NAME] and I am a constituent from [CITY/TOWN]. I’m calling today to urge [NAME] to do all he can to end this zero tolerance policy and the  practice of family separation.  I urge him to support a bipartisan approach to addressing one of the largest humanitarian crises in our country.. This is not the time for partisan politics, it is time to pass a compassionate solution."

Mustard Seed Mission Trip - Aug 25 to 30

For- high school seniors and college aged students. Join us for a service, language, immersion opportunity.

This summer, Fr Tom and I will accompany our teens/families to Jamaica. Trusting that you will join us on our third missionary journey. We will spend 5 days with our young leaders in service while being molded in cultural immersion, Catholic identity and spirituality. Mustard Seed is a respectable organization and is well attended by many of our Catholic universities/ parishes and high schools. What a remarkable statement of faith.

"Many of the residents will never get a chance to see the world. With your help, we will bring a piece of the world to them."   MSC

Question of the Week

Week of June 17, 2018

Mark 4: 26-34

Adults:

We offer this form of contemplative sharing for pondering Scripture while considering the question, and for the faith sharing which follows.

-  Listen/ Read (Lectio): Ponder God’s word and listen for what touches your heart.
-  Meditate (Meditatio): Notice what you notice. Allow God’s word to resonate in you.
-  Speak/Share (Oratio): Prayerfully share with the group your thoughts and feelings.
-  Rest in God’s presence (Contemplatio): Notice God’s presence and be still, surrounded by God’s love.

Teens:

What part do you play in helping the kingdom of God become more obvious in the world?

Children:

Who in your life needs to know more about God's love? How can you show that person God’s love?
