Since 2015, a team of parishioners have participated in a one week service immersion trip to David, KY to work with St. Vincent Mission. The focus is on home repairs in this section of Appalachia and volunteers are also able to work in the mission thrift shop and in the gardening program. The next trip is scheduled for May 26-June 1, 2024 and is open to people of all ages and non-parishioners as well. Previous immersion experiences include traveling to Guatemala to work with the indigenous Maya in a ministry of presence. Our youth partnered with Mustard Seed Jamaica painting, gardening, working in the orphanage, and feeding children with varying disabilities.
